Yep well done Viddi -Seems to work fine on my A1200 and great news StingRay
The Images are different sizes is that normal? The loading screens are all in English and then the menus are German any chance of a translation. |

If StingRay can find the text files while making the WHDLoad slave, I could translate it (It's not much text anyway)

Hi viddi ,
I examined your two extended .adf files. Did you obtain them using two different parameters in RAWREAD? It would seem that V2 was obtained using the -r parameter only, while V3 was obtained using both the -r and -x -1 parameters. If so, V2 can be considered a more reliable dump (the -r -x -1 parameter can be used for difficult tracks, but may be unreliable on certain tracks, e.g. DOS tracks). Just wondering: are you sure that your original disk is untampered? The final part (some DOS tracks) of the V2 dump is filled with the string "(W)XCOPY" which is typical of the X-Copy copier (it writes those strings instead of zeroes when making a disk copy under certain circumstances). As promised I did the WHDLoad slave this morning when arriving at work. Pre-installed version attached. I'll translate the game in the next days, you'll be able to play the english version with the CUSTOM1=1 tooltype then.
As I did the slave at work it hasn't been tested on a real Amiga yet so feel free to report any problems. It would be nice if someone could create an icon. Quote:
The game doesn't use these tracks anyway so it doesn't matter if they are modified or not. Last edited by StingRay; 25 May 2010 at 10:53. |
