I understand TOSEC's dilemma, that's why I personally thoroughly test the item that I worked on before releasing. I also refrain from labelling them w/ the [!] flag as it is a conflict of interests. Additionally, I am very selective on the projects that I partake.

Whoever did the crack/train code for Magic Pockets needs to learn how to code!
The mirror 'trick' of finding external ram is NOT a reliable way of detecting fake fast, chip or real fast ram. Thats why every Magnetic Fields game fails on A12oo because of this stupid coding practice. |

MP works fine on my A1200. Perhaps you inserted the floppy the wrong way ? - It can be hard sometimes.. Perhaps the one who once did a "crack" for Drangonstone should learn to calc a bootblock checksum ? It seems like Black Cat knew how to, you could call him and ask how to do it.. |

I didn't crack Dragonstone smart arse, someone else in Rednex did it and used my name. I can assure you, I am quite a good deal more adept at cracking than the muppet who did the Flastro crack of Magic Pockets. Mirroring memory to get extra ram was a dumb idea back then, and its even dumber now that WHDLoad slave authors have been fixing these problems for years now. I suggest you tread carefully before you start bragging about how good a 'cracker' you are. Why not try it without Blackhawks toys.... Dick! And may I refer you to this thread? : http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=23995 |

I notice how you ignore the rest of the message though don't you Rob. 'sweet sweet treasure'? Save the sweet nothings for your boyfriend ( I hear he goes by the name of Victoria now!) |

Haha, you were quite happy to take coding tips from a 'sweet little girl' (I guess thats your thing huh?). Did you puke when I gave you the solution? Game works on 'most' configs? That about says it all, most isn't all, and where you are not prepared to go that little bit extra, your crack doesn't improve over any other version and is therefore pointless. Still no response to the rest of my initial message, how good would you be without Blackhawks Rob Decoder? Me, I did Magic Pockets without even knowing the serial key, without an original, and certainly without ARIV by Blackhawk. Yeah, I don't get every WHDLoad patch right, but then thats the point of slave files so we can update. Still, none of my patches failed on WHDLoad 16.6 either And there isn't one WHDLoad patcher that hasn't had to update a slave because of a mistake.... me included You have a go at a proper tricky protection with nary a Rob Northen decoder in sight, and then feel free to lecture me on my abilities and your 'primary school' retortes. Jesus, is this what qualifies for a 'challenging' discussion these days? |

Fair enough Paul, I did invite him into IRC to continue, but he didn't want to play, and instead responded after your message. Sigh. |
