Buddy, I think French is none the shorter
If I need to say banque de données for a simple database, or pas d'accord for "not OK!" I *DO* think French needs a lot of characters
I even think that German would lose a "max characters" competition, with French being the winner
(provided that Finnish could not participate for some reason <grin>)

is not sure... indeed german use longer composed words, not french

by example:
Unterzeichnerstaaten=>signataire
Berufungsgericht =>cour d'Appel
Insolvenzverfahren =>Insolvabilité

Angelegenheiten =>affaire
Arbeitslosigkeit=> chomage
....

But some french words:
anticonstitutionnellement=>verfassungswidrig
acide désoxyribonucléique=>Desoxyribonukleinsäure

Hi andreas and CFOU!
I'm sorry I didn't have much time to dedicate to the ITA-EN translation, during these months ...
Yes, I could pass the partial translation to you, andreas... do you really know the Italian language well?

@ CFOU!
The main reason that slowed down a lot my translation is this one:
many Italian sentences are splitted onto 2 or more lines, which (I suppose, but I never really played this game series) correspond to different game screens/scenes. Is this so? Or are those multi-lined sentences shown on the same screen/scene?
If not, I found it not easy to make a good English translation and split (without changing the sentence meaning too much) the resulting sentence into the same numer of lines as the original Italian sentence...

Thanks for trying to put up for me a "trap of brag-ism".
Hah, won't fall for that! Instead, I'll tell you: you will easily find out (heheh)
Since I plan to pass the finished translation to you so you can overlook it...that would be the optimum way to judge the quality of my translation, eh?

I made some more progress, months ago, but I had to stop again due to many commitments .

I'll group all the material and I'll see if I can proceed or pass it to another kind fellow...

Is the translation of this game still needed?
I didn't make progresses, but I'll gladly pass what I've done to anybody willing to finish it.
