Apollo 2030 SCSI Controller

I got a little problem here.

Everytime I want to mount a SCSI CD-Rom I get an error 80000003 when I try to mount CD2.

Now I installed Amikit on my PC and copied the mount and setpatch from amikit to my A2000 WB3.9. After that I get 80000004 errors.

The HDDs work fine. Also everything works fine with WB3.1 (tested!).

So could someone explain why these errors are coming and how to get finally rid of them?

er, I can't help you, sorry
please tell me, how did you manage to connect HDD to Apollo SCSI? What type of HDD is it?

Also something is strange.

When I'm putting just 1x 16 MB Memory onto the Apollo I can copy files to ram. When both are onto it I get a crash after some seconds. The Rams are both the same and each one had run flawless when there where singled out on the Apollo.

I have two Hdds and one Scsi Cd.

The Hdds are Unit 0 (Seagte 1080MB) and 1 (IBM 2100 or somewhat). The CD is Unit 2 and has the termintor enabled. All drives have parity enabled. Also you have to set a jumper that put power onto the SCSI Bus. It seems that the Apollo needs that to activate it's terminator (this is complete speculative; without it it won't work for me).

After that I put in the Apollo Disk and begin to configure my HDDs.
If you using other programs for HDD installation it won't work (for me ATM!). If there is someone for that problem and how to solve it by using HDInstTools or anything similar I would be .

Thanks Drake, I've managed to connect 2,1Gb HDD to Apollo 2030 using its install disk as you said. It doesn't work with hdinsttools or hdtoolbox here either. But after all the trouble I realized it was a mistake, I should have listened to wise man telling me Oktagon2008 is better.. because Apollo SCSI is about 0.5xspeed of oktagon. (TBH, Oktagon had 9Gb HDD and Apollo 2GB so maybe that influenced it..)

Here are my results with Apollo SCSI, 2Gb, AH0: (first partition 500Mb, PFS3_020ds):

one more thing, it seems that Apollo RDB isn't quite compatible with rest so HDD might be unreadable when used with other controllers, I'm not sure but BEWARE..
