new contributions

Hi,

I've just uploaded 8 disk images for testing:

Brainball (used a different drive as the first image may have been corrupt)
BRAT
Conan the Cimmerian
Day of the Viper (aussie version disks/box look different, might be a different version number - uploaded for checking and completion if it is)
E-Motion KIXX budget release (has IBM version of game on same disk)
Leonardo
Manhattan Dealers
Pipemania

more to come..scanning takes so smegging long!

Speaking of which - do CAPS/SPS and HOL 'share' scanned images at all? It seems a waste to not share so many scans etc. or have contributors double up on content.

Yes, HOL uses images that are released by SPS, and some people submit images to HOL and SPS at the same time.

two new contributions, unfortunately really bad health has slowed me right down with scanning (and everything else in life).. but getting there slowly.

anyways: Starball and Aquanaut are on the FTP site - please let me know if the images are ok or if I need to re-do them.

I commend you for continuing to support SPS even when you are of ill health. I send my best wishes to you.

Sorry for hijacking this thread but i sent a message a while ago to the CAPS-team about dumping WinterGames and Summer Games 1 & 2 (but then i moved and so on, so i didn't have time to do it). But where do
i find the dumpdiskimage to make the dumps with?

Starball is fine, the second disc of Aquanaut seems to be a copy/overwritten original... I think we might have another dump that has a different issue (modified) hopefully not on the second disc.
In the meantime if anyone else has Aquanaut please dump it.

I just bought the swedish version of Beneath a steel sky. I cannot find it in the list of preserved games on the capssite, but i don't know how updated it is. Is there somewhere here from the CAPSteam?
