My First Mail Also
I'm sorry for been a new user also but I'm afraid to say I am. Thats why I am so pleased that I've caught this conversation. I'm just about in the same position as Bushmaster.
I was well into the Amiga and ST years ago at it was only last week when I discovered that they could be emulated on a PC. I am absolutely thrilled!!! Could you Djay just point me in the right direction also. At the moment I have the latest release of Winuae installed and I have managed to get two ADF games working, just using the floppy option with workbench 1.13. Could you just answer these questions for me in basic terms. If I have Winuae see a folder on my harddisk will the program remember my settings as at the moment I have to punch them in each time I use the program? I have download several games but like I say I can only get two working, does this sound right or should the adf files be more reliable? If I do let Winuae see a folder on my harddisk can I install games to this like on a PC? If I let Winuae see a folder on my harddisk what should I install, which version of workbench? Cheers mate, any comments will be greatly appreciated, I'm not a beginer with PC's but I know nothing about emulation, as you can probably tell. |
