Couldn't agree more

My copy of Powerglove turned up the other day and I couldn't believe how much was in it.

I am also considering buying this. If it would have a switch to allow TWO pcmcia cards to be inserted, it would be my dream gadget.

I've bought for 18 pounds a boxed C= Music Maker keyboard.

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/rpwAA...lR/s-l1600.jpg

for my modded C=64

About my Red C=64 I've finally sanded the paint and later I've waxed it. This way I've got a nice mate finish. It isn't finished yet, I'm a perfectionist.

Totally agree. But what I find odd after getting one myself is that it always looks bigger in pictures than IRL IMO.

ObBuy: 3 external floppy drives, 2 internal, and one pc 5.25". The last one might end up donating the closer pin to my A1020 (if they are interchangeable).

My first Amiga was an A1000, which I purchased in 1987 (I had a play with one about a year before then, but had to save up to get one of my own). One thing I remember fondly was the awesome stereo sound it made before asking for the Kickstart disk. No other Amiga has that!

I expanded mine with 2MB external Fast RAM, and a 20MB MFM hard drive connected via an IBM XT controller card and home-made ISA bus interface. At one time I also had a 'Sidecar' PC-XT clone and 5.25" external floppy drive attached.

A few years later I was using the A1000 to develop commercial software, when thieves broke into my house and stole the Amiga and everything that went with it (including my backup disks). Luckily they didn't notice the cardboard box in the corner of the room, which contained a brand new A3000!

The self test noise in the ROMs, unfortunately you lose it when you fit a KS Adapter.

My copy of Worthy turned up yesterday (yay!)

Unfortunately it needs de-fumigating. I wish people that are packing and shipping goods wouldn't smoke. The smell that hit us when we opened it. Jeez!

A couple of days ago I bought a C=+4. It has yellowed and not working keys
The seller accepted my offer of 55€

https://www.ebay.es/itm/Commodore-Pl...72.m2749.l2649

My plan?
I will take all of the keys appart and I will put all of the rubber pieces into a glass with IPA for a quarter of hour. Then I think I will use some graphite and laquer on their contacts. About the keys I will use some retrobrightning on them, although the keys are difficult, so I'll try for short periods of time.
It's a shame that Jan Beta hasn't made anything in a year about this so similar C=+4 that he has got.

You can be wondering why did I expend any money in this so forgotten machine. The truth is that I first fell in love with a C=1551 and also it's that I would love to play this new game that I've also bought:

I'm in contact/ordering the few caps it needs with Console5 that are so great!!

A refurbished replacement fdd and external adapter for cf cards .. and a license for amikit x, which is awesome! Starting to get right back into the amiga again, only thing that’s letting the whole show down is my low screen res 640x256 isn’t really helping! Love the a1000 by the way, I’d be chuffed to own that.

An ACA500+ for my A500. It's available at the moment. Slowly getting familiar with it now, but I can already say, wow, it's a great card and it tops my expectations!

Good idea. I'll put the rubber pieces in a glass with IPA for the time I take a lager beer

BTW: Console5 has made a new caps kit for the C= +4 as we talked

I got an Atari 2600 style clone joystick from AliExpress. Played a few games and works great. Very clicky. Perhaps almost too clicky but will see how it's like after some use. Was only about £7 with shipping.

I bought a straightening iron for my wife, Playstation Classic for both of us (she missed the games of PS1 Generation) and a bunch of cheap chinese controllers for PS2. No regrets
