Ah, I remember your nick too now actually I think in #amiga_overmind my nick would have been "fishy_fis" 'cos of galaxynet's 9 character restriction. Before that though I also used "beezle", which may have been for part of the #ao days too.

Time flies

Hey Phil the truth is Witchwood dev team just never got round to finishing the PC version let alone starting the Amiga version.

Martyn Brown posted some information regarding cancelled and unfinished titles on his blog on March 30th, 2007, and had this to say about this unfinished title:

"A promising fantasy RPG that rolled on and on before it was clear that the team was never going to finish it. There's some conspiracy that the title was canned because another Amiga title (Speris Legacy) arrived in town, but that's nonsense since Witchwood was a PC title. It was very disappointing actually, Bjorn actually released an album of the music he did for it and if anything, something good did come of the project; Colin Surridge - who's still at Team17 some 12yrs on - Colin is top. But again, like a cluster of projects around that time, all suffered since Worms got all the real focus - and looking back, it's fair to see why."

Probably the best description of the game

Ha ha I was indeed! Well actually a certain person decided to convert some level data as a test on iOS, so I guess that's what really triggered it off

Yeah, one or two hurt quite a bit, some levity to keep the work from being boring.

I hear you're married now, and Clive recently got married, and what a fucking world away from the mid 90's

ha, I've got a son as well nearly seven years old!

Yeah, quit Salisbury on 1st January 2000, moved to Bristol, and have now moved about 8 miles south of Bath.

I don't miss Salisbury at all to be honest, I was never its biggest fan, go back occasionally to see my old man or pick up a scrap car, but, I don't choose to visit it if I can help it.

Some good memories, just not a fan of the place itself.

Whats Andy up to these days?

Yeah agreed probably would have been long gone if most of immediate family didn't live here.
Andy's into all sorts but the main stay of his work is web development & marketing. They've just moved to the outskirts of Salisbury so getting closer to the exit !! Ha
