Commodore 64 car game

Hi:
This is the first time I ask for a game. I only watched it playing once, around 10 minutes, and it was in a b/w tv around 27 years ago... (1985-87 or around). Don't ask me what I remember, as I only remember the car was small, so you could see the streets around, it didn't run much, you could get inside of some garage, jump some places (I think). The game wasn't the usual go up the screen (spy hunter or so), but horizontally too.. and that's all I remember.

If I could have names of C=64 car games of this kind I would be able to search for images till I'll find it.

I've already searched for Commodore 64 car games in Google images and in Youtube too.

It isn't in your list (still haven't searched in your links). In fact there are a lot of them that are about racing cars. The game I tell wasn't (yes, it's rare) about racing.

It isn't Miami Vice, I've watched it in Youtube. I guess it can be the Last V8.
I watched this game 27 years ago in b/w. It was while we where waiting our teacher of computer science... We had C=64's to learn basic and I was around 15 years old.

I wonder what happened to the guy that played that game... he was really incredible at that time. He had the skills to program in machine language, just using numbers for instructions. While we were trying (in teams) to make a simple game using basic he was making a game with the names of the "team" in 3D. I remember that game his "team" was making had balls rebounding in the borders of the screen (we were trying to make somekind of a hangman game). He watched something that wasn't working right and he changed the program just with numbers. That was as I say around 1986.

If the game where you can jump using a car hmm I can only name a few

Burnin' Rubber C64?
Up'n Down C64?

But as I remember Burnin' Rubber was same upwards scroll as Spy Hunter so proparly not that
Up'n Down well same but you could go back and get some flags and ofcourse jump over cars if I remember a bit of that game.

Else 4x4 off road?

But proparly none of them hope on more info, now we play guess a game name

No I'm almost sure it was the Last V8, but I watched it in b/w some time ago... If there isn't another version of this game, it has to be that, and no, the car coudn't jump as I was thinking.

But I think there were slopes in the streets and it was full of streets like some parts I've seen of the videos I've found of The Last V8. Perhaps I didn't watch it from the beginning.

No, it wasn't. Yesterday I looked at all the pictures of games in Lemon between 1984 and 1989 and didn't find it. Well, it's true that looking the photos I never would think it can be the Last V8.

I was remembering also that you could get inside of more garages, the car was a little more detailed and there were slopes.

Thanks for bringing up my post. No, it wasn't street rod. I don't remember it as the Last V8, but it was very similar, I've watched it in Youtube and... Are there only 3 stages? The one I remember was slow, it wasn't a race and you could get inside garages and so. It could be the last V8 (I don't think so) if there are more stages that I haven't seen.

No, that car is too big. It was the same size like The Last V8. If it wasn't it has to be very very similar.

I know you've discounted a bunch of games, but is it possible you're remembering bits of Racing Destruction Set?

Amazing game for a C64. [ Show youtube player ]

No, it wasn't a race. There wasn't split screen or two cars running.
