How to clone KickRom 3.1 via Eprommer ?

Hi,

how can i copy a KICKROM (3.1) via an EPROMMER for an A2000?
I tried to read out the KickRom but I get only Garbage and when i burn a KickRom Image into the EPROM the AMIGA won't Boot

Is the KickRom encoded or must i modifiy the Kickrom Image ? Or do I need a EPROM Adapter on The Mainboard ?

Any help will be usefull.

Keep in mind that:

1) For an A2000, you need the A5/600/2000 version of the Kickstart 3.1 (A1200 onewouldn't work)
2)I think it comes in a 32 bit rom...

Anyway, you should buy the rom from an Amiga shop, not pirate it.

It is not really worth the effort because you cannot take a standard 27C4096 eprom, but need a a special one that will cost you more than a used kick 3.1, maybe even more than a new kick 3.1 !
You could however build an interface to adapt the original rom for a 27C4096, but I don't think it will be cheaper.

Also keep in mind like Akira said that you have to read out a 'one-chip' rom from an A-500/2000 !
Reading out both 3.1 roms from an A-1200 and simply put them together will not work because the rom is splitted up into both chips in lower/upper 4 bit format.
