REQ: Hacker (working version)
After almost two weeks of serial cable trouble, I finally convinced my inner self, bought myself a serial DB9-female-to-DB25-male serial extension and soldered my own NULL-MODEM-CABLE!
These things are hard to get in the shops, because it's got a male connector on one side, needed for my early A1000 model! Due to major demand from Toni, I transferred the TOSEC image of Hacker to my A1000, and walla, the transfer worked this time (disk was recognized as a DOS disk, and had the name Hacker). Unfortunately, it didn't boot, neither with Kick 1.1, nor with 1.2, nor with 1.3. This is a broken image. So could anyone of you please check his old disk boxes if he happens to have another copy of this game, preferably a different one from the TOSEC one? |
