Evil´s Doom - blocked path
I have the same problem rudei mentioned back in 2010 (http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=267) on the first level of Castle Mythil - I can´t access the cellar. There was not given any solution/answer to this back then.
Playing "Evils Doom CD v1.80" bilde1.jpg shows my explored map bilde2.jpg shows my blocked way into the cellar I looked at JemyM´s playthrough (part 24), but he did not have this "door" blocking his path. Is there something I have missed, or does it have anything to do with the version I am playing? Anyone? |

Version 1.8 as stated in my first post. Taken from the EAB-server, the cd-version: "Evil's Doom v1.8 Final (2010).7z"
The entire contents from the cd are copied to my harddrive and the start-file is edited to include the necessary assigns. |

Same problem here. When entering castle there already is on a map some doors and walls already visible and it places blocked doors instead of the stairs. So it means blocked door to cellar also. And there also is some purple flickering artifacts in the dungeon.
When using my savegame in another version of ED it did not make any difference. Last edited by amigoun; 27 September 2015 at 15:01. |

Seems like that. I seem to have no other chance than to start again from the beginning with the older ED 1.54 version and hope I would be more lucky.
Interesting, that this bug did not appeared in JemyM longplay. |
