I saw 4 colours but i had to push winuae gamma far to see them. I'll ask to non daltonian tomorrow if they can see them, it could be a bad monitor setup. edited: look at the screenshots i see max 4 kinds of blue.Did you use blue really near of each other in the range ? (sorry for this fu... bad english !!) For the blurry i see what you mean now !! i set my monitor in this mode long time ago and forget about it. It's like using a double sharper filter, the result is really good, that's why i forgot about it. Last edited by turrican3; 04 June 2019 at 08:05. |

You should see a Blue gradient sky getting darker toward the top of the display.
I think the filter you have on there is a bit too powerful ... for example, you can't see the drone enemy properly because it has blended into the rocks. Geezer |

That filter makes Rygar look nothing like an Amiga game. Doesn't even have any scanlines, I have no idea how anyone could think it looks good.

I just had a weird issue at the end of stage 2. The statue was 5cm or so out of the room. Once stopped for the bonus, Rygar wasn't fully in the room.
Screenshots and various debugs below: |

Just played through http://109.228.4.199/downloads/RygarEAB10dbg07.adf.
Couldn't get it to freeze / crash Two things, which I'm sure you know about: 1) With the stack of tribesmen on the 2nd stage, in the arcade if you kill the bottom ones the stack will fall quite quickly and not be suspended there. 2) When climbing the rope you cannot swing the weapon above your head. |

... yes those are both on the to-do list. Here's a version of the game with the debug removed... played it twice... I can't get it to crash on WinUAE... gonna try on real hardware and see if it crashed... (fingers crossed). http://109.228.4.199/downloads/RygarEAB11.adf |

Impressive stuff.
Is the game complete now ? I mean apart of the remaining bugs to find, did you implement the 26 (?) levels? Tell me when I can pick a new version to adapt the whdload slave too. |

I'm also contemplating checksumming the shit out of it so that Alpha One and Musahi has a hard time training it. (I mean it too). |

musashi9 / Alpha One / Galahad / ross / Stingray / others will probably get around this anyway; would just make their job more difficult and I don't see the point |

Ohhh I know they will get around it... it's just about the amount of time it takes them is all - I know them boys just love a challenge, like a mini competition. We do it all the time in security - capture the flag! ... just to say mate... I really appreciate your help.. and not to mention @Malko as well who has been great with testing as well! |

No problem
Just played http://109.228.4.199/downloads/RygarEAB11.adf; on the second stage I picked up the cross. At the stacked tribesmen I ran into the first one and he stuck to me, even when moving back / forward |

@mcgeezer please don't checksum it. Well, do it if you want, but I'll have a hard time creating the whdload install in that case (but I'll be able to do it anyway, it will just be longer. Checksums aren't very useful with WinUAE read memory watches)
ATM it looks like the best Amiga arcade port ever. Until your next project |

Thanks for the feedback as well... I have to admit that I'm impressed with the result, I have pushed myself beyond what I thought I could do both technically and mentally. I am very happy at the moment. |
