This is much better than Super Turrican (also runs much better on PSP).
Lost a lot of lives due to collecting lots of diamonds... 340,390 |

Woohoo! ^^ Good showing this one. I was better than I remembered actually.
47250 -------- *looks at John's score* OMG! I didn't perform much of a score there! Man... I guess this will be one of those again, where I have to chase the golden 100 000 to even make an impression. Last edited by Predabot; 06 September 2009 at 15:41. |

Still don't like it, but at least (after the weekend of training) I could beat it Nowhere near john's score though...

Somehow, I guess I am more qualified to hunt Pokémons than diamonds . Missed more than a third in the Alien levels (not that I seeked them especially). Btw regarding sprite vs background in secret areas, if memory serves right, in Turrican 3, in the golden armour zone, the Turrican sprite is visible and in 1-up secret areas of the junkyard level the sprite is invisible. In mega Turrican, it is the opposite (well, there is no golden armour but still there is one one-up). Game designers who completely change their minds |

Great to see you're back xpect
The water level is a bit annoying (especially since the 'swimming' controls are a bit strange to say the least ). I'm sure you can improve your score within the next three days |

Just to tell that i'm currently paused for several minutes in the Alien level, and it's the most irritating level i've played in Turrican, ever!. It makes me wanting to scream!
Now that i had this cathartic moment, i'm off to eat something. |

Yes, I hope you don't beat my score - because I don't want to go through the HUGE alien-levels all over again looking every inch for diamonds...

Those in the hollow stone pillars (hence hidden) are a bother.
I also remember one isolated on a platform and that needs some rope swinging and sudden lengthening at the end before releasing the rope to then land on a pillar (hollow, so you have to land at the right spot) and finally jump from there to the platform with the diamond. Even with a precise guide collecting all diamonds in those levels would be a chore (IIRC, there are 800-900+ of them ). An idea for a new EAB competition, find all the diamonds in Turrican 3 alien levels (and do a visual guide, with screenshots) |

I did find them all (well, except 1, I've collected 649 out of 650) - I just don't want to have to collect them again...
