SUM USB Adaptor for Amiga 1000?

Hi,
I am currently looking for an alternative keyboard for my phoenix amiga.
The phoenix mainboard has an A1000-style-keyboard connector.

I know that there adaptors to connect an A2000 to the A1000.

Like described here: http://www.amigawiki.org/doku.php?id..._adaptor_a1000

Do you think it would work if I create a chain of adapters?
