That depends very much on your intended use case.

It works fine for writing ADFs to floppy, but it is a bit of an expensive solution if you only intend to do a few disks.

Sure, it manages that fine. I have done thousands of ADFs with my kryoflux (and Cyclone2k proto).

Jope, do you manually clean the disks in some way before the dumping operation ?

Usually not. Only if I get errors and even then only if the disk is somehow valuable. I mainly do disks from old Amiga sceners, the same demos and games show up all the time, so it's not worth going through the trouble for every disk. :-)

Make sure to run a wet cleaning disk through the drive every now and then, or clean the heads with a q-tip. Especially if you start getting lots of errors when reading, you know it's time. :-)

You can find the results from janeway and the warez games (if new ones show up) get occasionally delivered to TOSEC guys.

Been lazy with the TOSEC part lately, as "all the games are there already". Should run my stash against the latest dats to see whether some are worth submitting. :-)

Indeed, my Janeway submissions actually go via Break. I do some gentle pre-curation, deliver the results to him and he provides the relevant new stuff to Zeg.
