enhancement request: Clone Amiga HDD to HDF

Hi Toni,

Could it please be possible to CLONE a real Amiga HDD to a HDF image?

It seems WinUAE can already recognise the Amiga drive geometry and read/write to it, so I'm guessing that doing a track by track copy to a HDF image might not be too difficult?

Winuae can do this as I recently cloned one of my HDs

It's in the add hard-drives screen I think..

Yeah, but he is saying all it does (in another thread), is just create a blank HDF file.

It is broken in 1.2 (can be easily seen by checking the new hdf with hex-editor..)

Technical explanation: for some reason ReadFile() does not automatically increase file pointer when accessing block devices directly. (but it did on my PC when I tested it on CF memory card..)

(Buggy) Clone-option appeared in 1.2. It will be fixed in 1.3.
