SSF II Turbo -: Since When ???

I just found this video clip on YouTube from Recorded Amiga Games, and in it is Super Streetfighter II Turbo!.

Now is it just me, or is this video a mock up, since i could never recall this being released for the Amiga ?????????.... Or maybe its a CD32 release that never came to the A1200, hence being the reason i hadn't heard about it!?.

If it "is" available for the A1200, does anyone know where i can get it?, since to me it looks quite graphically amazing with its parallax floors ( aka Elfmania ) beautiful amount of colours.. etc..

http://hol.abime.net/2214

Warning: The game is a load of old crusty tat apparently, which is why I've never played it.

Have a look at the reviews sectoin on HOL. The magazines absolutely slated it at the time. Amiga Power gave it a paltry 25%.

It´s from 1995/96!!

You can download it here:

http://www.whdownload.com/games/Upda...1_AGA_0735.zip

or the CD32 version without CDDA:

http://www.whdownload.com/games/Upda..._v1.1_CD32.zip

But it´s very hard to play and you need a CD32 joypad.
Otherwise you have to use your keyboard.

It's better that you missed it mate. Play it at risk of a fate worse than a fate worse than death.

You know I was thinking the same thing that native indian guy looks kinda deformed to me and somethings wrong with that big guy in the backs nose, the manuals cover looks better.

Never mind, Boss. It would be a restart at all...

I´ll spend some time on new covers soon. But I have to go on with my FMV game project as well.

Amiga keeps me busy

Yes!

The Human Soft version looks much better but the Freestyle version is more playable.

But I checked it out (SSFII Turbo) with no caches on 060 and CD32 emu:
Very smooth and fast. Paradoxically, it´s easier then.

Edit: Ah yes, there is no in game speech and no music on SSFII Turbo!
But the CD32 version has a great CDDA soundtrack.

I never played either of them.
Zetr0s home brew cover looks far more acceptable than the orig. box to me.

I bought the original 10 disk version. Game looked great when paused BUT to make it work they chopped all the frames out of the charachters! so for example ryus punch had 2 frames, the pull back then the strike, makin collision detection impossible and the game unplayable. Utter crud

That game sucks ass on the Amiga as they kept out half the animation and lots of sound effects.

TheBoss, you know you have the most valuable and expensive Amiga game ever there? Copies of SSFIIT CD32 go for over 500 pounds on eBay sometimes.

The CD32 version has nice music, remixed versions of the arcade music at CD quality. These are the same tracks as used in the 3DO version of the game. Both versions (and the PC) looked the same and had parallax floors but no parallax backgrounds. The Amiga/CD32 versions play like shit though, and missed out on most of the sound effects and lots of animation. SSFII: The New Challengers plays much better, but has the shit graphics.
