Psygnosis game for TV show?

Was just watching Kim Justice's documentary about Psygnosis and it was mentioned that Psygnosis developed some games in 1992 for a kid's TV show, all running on the Amiga.

Were these games ever found/released in recent days?

[edit] Here's a video showing them all:

They used Magic Pockets I remember for one tv phone in game, don't recall any Psygnosis games being used.

Skip to the time I mentioned in the video above, what I refer to is nothing to do with Amiga games being used on TV rather than a specific TV show commissioning Psygnosis to make some games and they were all made and run on Amigas.

[edit] actually found the raw footage showing them:

I think these are not bad, gameplay is simplified for obvious reasons, thanks for link.

Yeah I quite like them myself, the graphics look nice. Would love to play them, they seem great for multiplayer party tournaments!

I remember the game Hugo being featured a lot in morning Kid's shows.

Basically kids would phone in, and have to say "left" and "right" in various scenes involving Hugo to avoid the obstacles on screen.

Just saw what AMIGASYSTEM posted... They did that in the UK too, but I think the dialect was muted (due to not being in English).

Guys this thread s regarding the Psygnosis game, not frickin' well known and all around available Hugo. Try not to derail.
Perhaps I should have posted it in the REQUESTS subforum :/

Anyway, I remember recently there was a finding of some Psygnosis disks, wonder if these games or any assets for them were in any of them? Also FromWithin would have insider knowledge of this but I don't think he hangs out here any more

I meant to post about these Psygnosis games a few months ago when I came across them by accident in researching some stuff for HOL, but my old PC laptop died and took all the bookmarks with it! Anyway, I just did a quick search on the games that Psygnosis produced for the Nickelodeon Arcade children's show and came up with these links:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Arcade

http://web.archive.org/web/201603221...rimm/nick7.htm

https://sb2tlopg.wordpress.com/2011/...an-friedman-2/

http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/...ad.php?t=75535

The two games seen in the Psygnosis documentary appear to be Brainstorm and Crater Rangers.

AFAIK nope. Seems that Viacom may own the rights to all the games featured on Nick Arcade, as a guy on a Sonic forum was trying to hunt down an early prototype used in one of the game challenges and hit a massive brick wall! That was in 2005, mind you, so who knows where the games might be buried now......

@Akira
D'oh! It was late and I forgot the Sonic forum link in my last post (---> clicky!). Unfortunately, no names of any Viacom employees contacted were divulged in the thread. Have a read for yourself anyway.......

I drop in every so often.

I don't actually know anything about them as they were done before I joined full time. I'm not even sure who worked on them. Nevertheless, it's not that uncommon a thing. We did a mini-game a bit later for Pfizer based on Microcosm to advertise one of their drugs for hyper-tension. We had a Wipeout sequence in the movie Hackers. Special FX did the video graphics for Red Dwarf's computer screens. Xenon was used in Get Fresh on Saturday mornings on ITV.

You take whatever work comes your way.
