BRILLIANT!
ALL of the issues that I experienced are now resolved with both the 030 and 060 executable on my 060 machine. The only graphical glitch I see is maybe 1cm top part of the screen seems to tear when screen scrolls. Whether this is my screen/indivision of the exe I dont know. It occurs on both .EXEs Thanks again Novacoder ..... Now for sounds lol |

Yep, it doesn't need a Indivision to run at all.
Using the MultiSync+VGA drivers it will run on a most older CRT monitors using a simple RGB to VGA adapter (ie no scan-doubler required), this is quite rare as most games just run in PAL 50hz mode. Of course you could also use RGB to SCART and plug it into a TV. Another way to run it is to swap the MultiSync & VGA drivers for the basic NTSC driver and run it plugged into a TV using the composite cable (although it won't look as good of course). |

Nice one! Ran it on my 030 @ 50mhz system using CWB Adv and PAL output.
Silky smooth nad text just at the right speed. No crashes so far (2hrs gameplay). Noticable tearing along top inch of screen when scrolloing. Definitely get the impression that there is power left in the tank for sounds... |

Yep should be enough left for some decent SFX.
I've got somewhere with that tear along the top of the screen....almost cracked it. |

Ok, this will be the last release for awhile as I get to work on the SFX.
It's still not perfect on my system but to make it any better would mean some big changes to the underlying engine. Last edited by NovaCoder; 29 October 2009 at 23:49. |
