rom.key?

Hello people,

Just a quick question regarding the file "rom.key".

What is it for? Should I be using this for game configurations?

it is used for unscrambling the enyrypted ROM files in amiga forever 6.

Basically on the CD you should get a rom.key file which is matched to the roms on that CD..

Ah ha. So I don't really need this unless I used the "Amiga Forever 6.0 - CD Edition" CD-ROM?

Yet again thank you for your assistance and knowledge, much appreciated.

I dont think you have to worry about the rom key. I have configurations for AIAB and Classic wb and I have not included the rom key from AF6 in the configurations. Maybe you should keep it in the rom folder on your hard drive just in case though.
