Sorry if I'm highjacking this thread, but I've uploaded some unmatched DMS files onto the contribution FTP, into the /Upload/Qube folder for you guys to check out.
The 7z pack contains 92 DMS files and an index spreadsheet containing the info (LibreOffice ODS & raw CSV formats), attached here also. Hope this is of use, I'll have a few more in the future. Q; |

Another question Qube:
can you explain me HOW you do the comparison between your disk images and the the TOSEC archive ? Personally speaking i used this search http://grandis.nu:81/eabsearch/ but it's probably not enough |

Hi Chip,
These are old amiga game archives I've had in my posession for a while now, just finding the time to scan through them, I did not create the images myself. Some files were found to be corrupt years ago due to bad CD-R discs, so I ripped the stuff off which was readable and kept them ever since. I think I got hold of them around 2002, can't remember where from now lol. I use ADF-Workshop to convert them all to ADF, then used ClrMAMEPro with the latest TOSEC lists to match known disks, the remaining disks were not matched so I've uploaded the original DMS versions of those disks to the contribution server for others to check over/include/disregard etc. Hope that helps, Q; |

Yes, it helps, thanks
I already know ADF Workshop, but not ClrMAMEPro It would be interesting a thread that explain exactly what to do to check for NO-TOSEC stuff, IMHO |

This is ClrMAMEPro; and then use the latest .DATs from the TOSEC site to check through all files Quote:
... ADFs - renaming / comparing / finding out if you have anything rare!!! ... Amiga - Latest Public DATS Combined (TOSEC-v2007-03-14) & (TOSEC-v2017-04-23) |

It was just for curiosity about the process to do to identify a NO-TOSEC disk
I'm not going to check anything actually In other words, only to know how things work exactly I use ADF Workshop, but i still don't know what exactly these "additional" databases are and where to find those Are the dats that i find in the TOSEC site perhaps ? |

Your uploaded ADFs are currently not in TOSEC, this is correct! I wrote, that the files are known to us, because they are already on EAB FTP (Tuna01 CD). |

Should I continue to upload anything else I find which is not matched in TOSEC for you to evaluate? I'm mostly doing this as a clean up exercise for myself. Cheers, Q; |
