I finally built one TF530 Rev 3 with a 50mhz cpu for me and it really is a execelent card, sysinfo 4.0 says 10MIPS ! Really apreciated the hard work Plasmab!
With WB 3.1 and BetterWB 4 installed I'm getting 1.76MB/s on the IDE with a 512MB cheap CF card , tryed with diferent cards (transcend 4gb 133x, CF -> SD adapter etc) and I get arround the same speed, but installing MMULIBS speed takes off to arround 3,6MB/s. Now the odd results, some games while loading the Amiga power light flashes and the game jitters a bit, most load fine, some fail. But most whdload games load and play just fine. Hybris loads fine but if I leave the game playing the music for a wile I get a error Exception "NMI Autovector.... Workbench loads without issues, games and demos from floppy load and play beautifully. My Amiga is an 500 rev6a with 1MB chip ram, kickstart 3.1, the TF530 is with RC2 firmware Do I need to replace the scsi.device or make other changes to the WB installation? |

I buyied the pcb on Amibay, I realized my mistake later.... I understand the no support for me.
My issues just might be whdload config related, need to read the tooltypes option like NOAUTOVECT and CACHE. |

140 Euros or 160 usd, a bit pricier than what I was selling them for but still reasonable I suppose. I stopped selling them cause people were breaking them trying to install them and returning them... Hopefully with the 534 not needing the INT2 cable, I can build a few again. |

Back on topic..
I spend some time looking at the TF530/TF520 ram issue with the kipper2k card. I put the thing on a 500Mhz logic analyser... I am unimpressed with the performance of the kipper2k card (originally the A600 8MB card). It doesnt get valid data on the bus until mid S6-S7 but DTACK goes low in S2/S3. Waay too early. See. https://twitter.com/terriblefire/sta...88965712121856 You can see when the data bus goes valid... isnt that cool Anyways I arsed about with the CAS/RAS on the kipper2k card and the timings now work. Anyone interested in a speed increase for the kipper2k card? |

TF520?
As in "plasmab's 020 accelerator for A500"? And as you mentioned tinkering with Kipper's A600 ram, does it mean there is TF6x0 lurking somewhere around the corner (or maybe bit farther? ;P ) |

Hi Everyone,
I'm slowly collection the parts to build a TF530 rev 3 for one of my A500's I have a few questions which I couldn't see answers for, sorry if I've missed somthing 1. is the ram Fast or chip? Someone mentioned its fast Zorro, i'm not sure what that come under (sorry new to amiga terminology ) 2. I understand I can assemble it with just the 68030 to start with to test, what do I need for that? Kickstart version 2.04 okay or do I need 3.0/3.1? Do I need a certain amount of chip ram? 3. I've rolled the dice on a chinese 68EC030 40mhz, I assume this will work okay (if working and genuine etc) 4. What are people using for the 68000 socket? I was planning on using pin headers, or is there a better solution? Thanks to all, i'm new to Amiga community so I understand there may be gaps in my knowledge |

You need the smaller pitch round pin strips/sockets. You can find them on ebay. If you're willing to sacrifice the socket, i imagine it'll be fine. You can always replace it I guess. John EDIT: I assume you mean taking the 530 to the a500 socket? Not the socket on the relocator board. |

I’ve been over all this in my videos. Watch before you start building. Maybe I’ll do a refresher with the FAQs added
