EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 8 - Lotus III

EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 8 - Lotus III

Rules:
- The round starts now (Sunday, July 20) and will end at 11:59pm UK time on Saturday, August 9.
- Score as many points as possible.
- Post screenshots of your score in this thread, and write your score underneath. You can enter as many times as you like within the round's time frame.
- No cheating of any kind (including score leeching) - this includes save states. If you suspect a contestant of cheating then don't post it in public (anyone who does so will have their posts edited or deleted) - please PM either me or Biscuit and we will investigate it. If we find anyone guilty of cheating then they will be banned for the entire season.
- Please only post your score on either the EAB or Lemon forums. If you have already played this year you have to post your score on the same forum for the whole season. If you are new, the one you post on first will be your "team" for the whole season. However you are welcome to discuss the compo, game etc. on the other forum if you wish.
- Choose 'Cup' (racing for positions) mode, and play all three difficulty levels. Your three scores will be added up to make a total score.
- This is the final round of the second leg.

Just played it on Easy mode, and it was, well, easy. Maximum score... (sorry about the poor pic by the way, taking a decent photo is harder than getting 140 points).

Easy: 140

Hmm, medium was a little more challenging. Wonder why it put my score third in the high-score table...?

Lemon is down at the moment...

Easy: 135 (M200)

Medium: 166 (M200)

Hard: 168 (Elan)

Total Score: 135+166+168 = 469

My medium score is also on 3rd position. Weird.

By the way, if any other Lemoners want to post their score here while it's down (yet again), feel free.

I should imagine the third-place thing in the medium high-score table is some obscure bug.

In the Elan, that was so easy.

Hard: 249 (Elan)

Total Score: 555

Made it to the final race - but there was no pitstop because of a tunnel after the 5th lap - thus I ran out of fuel. But since I was in 9th position I probably wouldn't have gotten more than another 2 points...

Because Lemon is down (again), I thought I'd post this random, yet interesting, morsel of information. On the Lotus Trilogy version of Lotus 3, something kind of random can happen. If you play Hard twice in a row with the same car and everything (I think. I haven't tried changing car/gear/etc. yet), the first track will change on the second play when compared to the first play.
These changes are: at the top of the first hill, there is nothing there first time, but second go there are 2 beamy things,
after the second corner there is a tunnel first go, but on the second go, the tunnel disappears, leaving more magnet things there for the following left corner,
after the first right hander of the turbo bit, there is a tunnel first time round, which disappears second time round,
The changes are quite minor, and maybe hard to realise and there may be another change, but I'm not sure. Just thought I should tell everyone about it. Anyone else found this out?

Hard: 263

Total Score: 140 + 182 + 263 = 585

Messed up the 4th and last tracks. Still, makes for an all-Lemon podium at the moment.

You can't mess up in the 4th race. It's just unfair and impossible to win. Very nice going - I suggest you complete medium now and take the lead.
