T-Zero music problem
Not a big problem as such, but a slight inconvenience. I've finally got my CD-ROM drive (connected to a Squirrel (er, not literally, the RSPCA might have something to say about that)) to play audio CDs (via AsimCDFS), but T-Zero still doesn't play the audio tracks. I've set the device I use through the game's prefs (with AmiCDFS I used "cd.device" and unit 0 - with AsimCDFS I now use "squirrelscsi.device" unit 4) but neither seem to work.
If I use the cd.device it says the soundtrack is available, with the squirrelscsi.device it says it isn't but it doesn't get played either way. The actual game has always worked fine, but it would be nice if it would play audio tracks as well. |

Okay thank you, I'll give that a whirl when I get time, though I've got a feeling it won't work if the game insists on unit 0...

No I haven't, though that's probably worth checking out. Any idea where I can get it from?

Patches can be found here:
http://www.clickboom.com/download.shtml As for CD-Audio I have T-Zero with the newest patch running with cybscsi.device unit 1. Full music so no problems! |

Cheers! That's a good sign then, fingers crossed it will also work for me. I don't think I'll get the chance to try it today, but when I do I'll let you know how I get on.

Well, I installed the patch a little while ago (didn't install or modify anything else, so my CD drive is still set at unit 4), and..... IT WORKS! At long last - I've only had to wait a year to be able to play the music
Thanks for your help, people! |

Digging up a really old thread, but i'd like the v1.01 patch as i'm having the same problems, but the links on clickbooms download page are all dead. I can't seem to find the t0-update-v1.01.lha anywhere on the eab file server or even google! Does anyone still have this patch?
