Best Amiga Games after 1993
Hi folks!
I left the Amiga scene in late 1993, but now I'm back again. Which games that were released after 1993 are still worth to play? Thanks a lot |

As I said before, it makes no sense to make someone who, in his own words "fucking hates amigas", an amiga magazine reviewer, no matter whatever subject he writes in. It's even more lame to support that attitude and the initial phrase gives me the right to use the f word once too.

The clear inference in his post (and NOT one I personally subscribe to, btw) was that he hates the computing side of the Amiga but likes the games; as he was employed as a games reviewer this was never a problem. Nor does it invalidate his right to BE a games reviewer.
I personally love Workbench and always have, but just because someone else hates it doesn't make that person a tosser. If he wants to view the Amiga as nothing more than a nifty games machine (which is what made it so popular back in the day), where's the problem? How many people here really LOVE windows? Yet we all use our PCs. As for my defending him (or rather, his right to express his own point of view), that's my choice, and NOT one I feel I have to justify. At the end of the day this is a pretty pointless arguement (and has drifted from the original topic somewhat). |

The spotty wanker next door who doesn't know shit about computers can think like this, but when an AMIGA MAGAZINE WRITER says that he fucking hates amigas, on an amiga board, that makes him a hypocrite because of all those years spent writing about amigas and I don't agree your opinion on that he should get away with no criticism about this. Besides, he can and probably will reply for himself because he's a member here and doesn't need YOU to defend him. You have to justify why you are speaking instead of him. I hate to be dragged in this kind of discussions in which no one will benefit in the end, but again replying is the only choice I have as long as the discussion goes on because I'll criticise what I believe is wrong.
If you think the argument is useless, you shouldn't have started it. Last edited by oldpx; 15 September 2004 at 00:42. |

What does this thread have to do with what Stuart Campbell has posted in another thread; a thread that has been closed to prevent such petty arguments developing? The guy has his own forum so why not visit it? Please stay on topic and answer micktheodor's question. |

It was a JOKE taken to overreaction by Marlon, it ain't my fault if people don't have any sort of humour.

I know nothing of Emu's either. I feel it would be better to ask about games released post 1995-96 after most of the main stream magazines closed. I guess most of these were on CD. Any suggestions as to what to look out for? |
