Transcend 4gb 133x Ultra Speed CF Card in PCMCIA?
Can anyone tell me if this card works correctly in a PCMCIA Adaptor in the Amiga?
In the compatability thread it was confirmed working with CF-IDE i believe, but noone had tried it via PCMCIA. Thanks. |

I think you're best to stick to <2gb for PCMCIA
I have this trancend card in my A1200 but sadly I've not tested it PCMCIA. Steve. Last edited by fitzsteve; 11 November 2010 at 12:28. |

I have had few problems with Transcend cards in IDE as well as in PCMCIA, so I would avoid it and buy SanDisk.
And Amiga 600 have a bit different PCMCIA that A1200, so the probability of incompatibility is also higher. |

Agreed - I have had mixed results with Trancend - in my opinion - avoid.

I have used the transcend 2GB 80x in both pcmcia and ide/cf and they work fine.I have also used 4GB sandisk ultra2 and 4GB transcend 80x in pcmcia and ide and they work well for me. i have not tried the 133x.

Ok thanks, i'll go with a Sandisk most likely, sounds safer.
