Modern printers on old Workbench
Is anyone doing something to get this going?, this would be basically a matter of drivers and not something directly concerning WinUAE....anyways, just asking if there's a possible fix for this. Despite the fact I always had cutting edge (for the time) Amiga hardware, I never really felt the urge of getting myself a printer as I could use my sister's anytime needed, now I repent.
It's not that I can't save my work and print it from Windows, but it would feel nice doing so from Workbench |

Printers
Which printers?
TurboPrint works on most modern printers as now most printers expect USB and advanced techniques to get high resolution with 4-6 colours and other high end features which we don`t have access to or will cost a lot to get access. AOS 3.5 introduced 24 bit colour drivers but still has not supported USB or 6 colour Photo printers. The WB printer.device needs a lot more work on it. |
