Unhappy Vesalia shop

not sure where to post this so OT.

is Vesalia.de still active as a shop? I've been trying to place an order since xmas days but I just get a confirmation email, no further comunication. No reply to emails, no reply from the facebook page either. I'm starting to worry that something is wrong...

Anyone else?

I ordered something at Vesalia 2 weeks ago and it arrived nicely a few days later.

My experience is not very good with vesalia. In late November I placed an order, but they sent some different items. After few emails I managed them send correct things (it took more then a month). They still owe me some eur for the shipping back to them the wrong items. I urged them few times but they ignore it. Time to write another email

I bought many things from them and I've had good service each time. My only complaint is that they don't use a good shopping card solution in regards to payment. You have to place an order and wait for them to send another email with their Paypal info...

But at least they do display the items availability on their website unlike one other site that I used recently to buy something then received an email saying they don't have it in stock and arguing when I want a refund... A store shouldn't charge if they don't have the stock in hand.

Could be a problem with your e-mail address. Maybe the order doesn't came through? Never had issues with them.

edit: Ah, you got a confirmation mail. Ok, that's strange.

They are often closed over Christmas/Year-end.

Received my latest purchases from Ves yesterday. Just have been handled by a bunch of gorilla along the way as the box was pretty beaten up... But since it was only cables it was ok.

Yeah Phoning can help.
But the owner is about 75 years old. His wife helps him to, but she was in the hospital a while ago.

So, bottom line; please be patience (and maybe phone sometimes).

She sadly passed away some years ago, and was the person doing most of the contact handling.

And indeed Mr Does is in his 70's, seeing how long he has been at it i wouldn't expect malice or anything.

He even guessed by my name and address that I was French-canadian and sent me the invoice in french. I never had any problem with Vesalia in my many dealing with them.

I talked to Ms. Vesalia (i think)last year (or was it 2016) for a pretty long time. She was so nice.

But a few months later she was in the hospital and it was quit serious.

Very sad to hear that she is gone

Mr. Vesalia dosent do this for the Money. He really cares and he does it as well he can. Like i said, he is not the youngest anymore so be nice to him. He is really an original and i like him a lot.
