This is not helping your problem, but I can confirm that I have problems with an usb- eth adapter myself. The chipset is AX88772. Refuses to connect with Rapidroad and roadshow. When I use the x-surf roadshow connects normally. The interesting thing here is that the same usb-eth adapter works fine on my a600 with subway. Using the same version of roadshow. The a600.is using Poseidon 4.4 and the a4000 is using Poseidon 4.5. The problem could be the different Poseidon versions. Unlikely, but needs to be tested to be sure of course. Would the issue be related to what tnt23 was facing (and I believe fixed) with his z3sdram card and the A3640. Don't ask me the technical details though.

It sort of works but you need to run the xsurf in Zorro II mode or you'll get problems

A3640 rev 3.1 used in both tests z2/z3 on xs100
rev b mainboard and rev 1 daughterboard. rev b mainboard and rev b daughterboard. Both boards get Same nak timeout (10) error. Ive also tried mmu.library and different 68040.library, no change. The rapidroad works fine in my 1200 via clockport, its twice as fast as the subway. But i didnt buy it for the 1200. |

I've heard of these nak timeouts but to be honest I don't really understand what they are or how to see them and I have never seen any issues in my day to day usage on my a4000

I dissasembled this device, but I dont know which LVO cause nak time error, I dont know poseidon.library error codes. This is perhaps easy to fix bug. For me init part of this device works OK. |
