I hope you don't mind amiman99? Use an "A1200 - 2MB Chip & 4MB Fast RAM configuration" or have those specs in your real Amiga... File now in The Zone! and also on the EAB file server under the directory "~Uploads/DamienD/HD INSTALL --> ADFS" Enjoy |

Yeah, that's going to help an A500 user all right.

Here we go again, surprise, surprise... knew you just couldn't help yourself and would post some usual smart-arse comment
Yes, it won't help any A500 users but how do you know he doesn't have an A1200 or emulate? Don't bother responding to this question by the way; pointless... |

- The game may not run on A500 because Kick1.3 It does not support lowlevel.library, it is instead supported by Kick2.0 and higher. - Command CD on Kick2.0 and higher is resident, no need to copy it to C: floppy I hope it is acceptable as written |

__________________________________________________ Hello there AMIGASYSTEM, Thank you for taking the time to take a look / investigate further Yes, I do realise "CD" is not needed. As mentioned, it was really just a very quick set of .ADFs for Amiga500Forever |

An A1200 with 4 MB of RAM but no hard drive? Or an emulator without a hard drive? Oh, come on now, don't be silly.

The floppy version created by DamienD does not need any HD,the game is unpacked and executed directly from RAM Disk |

I would like to get the most recent version of this on the original lha format to install on my A1200's CF, but the links on these thread seem to be down. Anyone knows where I can find it?

@ idrougge
DamienD has created this adf version, freely, in direct response to Amiga500Forever's post #24, with information as to exactly what is needed to run the game. Quote:
You, I, DamienD or anyone else knows exactly what Amiga500Forever is using, and whether or not he will be able to run the software, but I do see the generosity of DamienD's actions as being helpful towards another member of this board/community. I'm pretty sure if Amiga500Forever read the whole thread, he would have picked on the fact that the game is A1200 specific by amiman99's first post, so in theory he's already half way there. There's no need to post comments that attempt to ridicule DamienD for his generosity, without hard evidence that it simply won't work under the Amiga specifications that DamienD set out in the first place. Basically, try it before commenting the likes of what you have without any weighted arguments. |

The wider community? Who in the entire Amiga using community has an A1200 with extra RAM but no hard drive?
It sounds generous, but it's akin to holding up the door for someone who just isn't there. Just an empty gesture. Damien can do as he likes, but any claims that it's for users of real hardware is erroneous, and it doesn't help any emulator users since they all have gigabyte hard drives. If he makes weird claims, I refute them. Last edited by idrougge; 16 September 2016 at 16:31. |

Stop derailing this thread idrougge as you're the only one who has jumped in with such a negative attitude.
Back on topic EDIT: I don't see any claims from DamienD whatsoever, all I see is someone who quickly and freely created an adf version that would work using the specs he highlighted. There are absolutely no weird claims whatsoever in his posts, so there is nothing for you to refute, AT ALL!!! Now if there's anything else you want to say about any of this, why not keep it out of this thread and PM me or DamienD btw. My edit is only in response to your edit or I would have left it there. Once again back on topic. Last edited by DH; 16 September 2016 at 16:52. |
