The wallpaper background has been a part of the computer setup so long as GUI's have been a thing. We all know who to set a picture as our windows wallpaper but what about workbench?

In this weeks video CRG shows you how to setup a wallpaper for workbench.

Quick note to say CRG rolled up to 200 subscribers yesterday!

A massive thank you to everyone that has and continues to support me.

There was no video last week as I got coerced into starting some decorating in the house but this week we will be back and with Amiga Ireland only 3 months away its time to start some Amiga maintenance!

Not exactly. I've was waiting for the girl who is going to paint it to come back to me on her availability so I just need to get it sent off now which I keep putting off for no reason other than "I'll get to that tomorrow"

But you've reminded me so it needs done and I'll get it done tonight.

The crystals have finally arrived so the question now is can we overclock the TF330 and break the 10MIPS barrier.

interested to see how it goes , with the TF330 being so so close to 10 mips already , but would be nice to get it over that

Are you going to be getting the TF360 when its released ?
I'm still undecided as yet as the 330 does everything i need it to.

Yeah I've got my name down for a TF360 when they get released. I've no idea what I need it for to be honest as like you said the 330 ticks most the boxes already.

Great video Glen, I won't spoil it for others by saying what happens here But im still baffled how you get over 5mps hard drive speed, im only getting around 2.5 on all drives/partitions , maybe I need to change some settings or something.
I noticed your running an old sysinfo, have u used the newer sysinfo 4? it gives a higher mips result than 3.24

im getting
Sysinfo 3.24 - 9.61 mips
Sysinfo 4.00 - 9.96 mips

Now the problem is which is more accurate lol

Thanks for the tip on sysinfo.

You might have noticed in the hardware help section of this forum but the overclock has since failed. All I get now is a black screen so I assume the CPU is dead. I'll fit a new CPU and hopefully get back up and running again but I'm really of 2 minds if to test the 120mhz crystal now. I will be adding a heatsink and fan just to be sure.

As for my HDD speeds the CF card is setup as shown in the xbench tutorial. All drives are setup and partitioned using PFS3. The CF card itself isn't anything special just a scandisk and the CF to IDE adaptor came with my TF328 from supaduper but I don't think its anything more than thr typical eBay offering.

Well as updated on the hardware section there's nothing wrong with the chip but rather my general lack of intelligence was getting in the way. Couldn't see the wood for the trees as they say.

I'll update things this weekend on the youtube channel.

Just a quick update video on the TF330 showing the slight speed increase from installing MMU library and I stick a heatsink on the chip.

I watched it last night. Well done on completion. But I would like to suggest something.... Coloured buttons to match the cd32 scheme. Did you consider?
