I'm having trouble locating the disks on the bombjack site. I love that site, I've leeched a lot of manuals from there

Some disks of the Eurocon 1990 were posted here:

but I'm not sure they reference to the same devcon as the PDF so I'm hesitant about putting them together on bombjack.org

Hello everyone,

This weekend I've scanned the tome of the Amiga Developer Conference 1993 that took place in Orlando.

The PDF should be final; I'll give another look these days to ensure the least possibility of typos, then it will be uploaded on Bombjack's server:

Fun fact: I thought this was the very same tome as this one:

Actually it is not! Same year, same location but the one I've scanned appears to have more content. Still scratching my head on this.

Anyway, the last tome I have to process is the Amiga Developer Conference 1991 that took place in Denver. Coincidence is that two months ago Dave Haynie ebay'd this very tome and cashed in $70.

This is exactly why I wanted to do all this in the first place: every hobbyst should be able to get this documentation without spending a dime.

All this couldn't have been possible without the great kindness of Bo Zimmerman that agreed to donate these three books for scanning.

I suppose you refer to those sections containing documentation, schematics or code samples (e.g. pages 200 to 215). Yes, indeed, they are scanned as they appear on the book.
I tried to respect the setup of the original document, you can check that by looking at the page footer, that should always be oriented towards the reader.
Scanning a landscape-oriented sheet into a portrait PDF page would have produced an awkward and barely readable result.

There was also a developer conference in 1988. I have access to that tome, but no sheet feeder…
Oh, and there was a DevCon Milano as well, same thing there.

Well, those may be worth the effort of being scanned for future preservation, unless a digital copy already exists (don't know).

One of the 1990 ones has been scanned (Amiga_Developer_Conference_1990.pdf at BombJack's site), however it doesn't say whether it is Paris or Atlanta. AFAIK none of the others you mentioned has been scanned.

Uhm... hard to tell but let's see:

1) The "Developer Support Program Europe" surely not (at least not by me).

2) The two 1990 tomes. I have scanned one of them but don't know which one (although not sure but I can assume that in 1990 the technical documentation distributed was the same in the two conferences depicted in your photo).

3) The 1991 conference round probably has already been scanned although in your picture I see 2 binders (1 of 2 and 2 of 2), so I'm not sure whether I've scanned the complete set.

If you have those tomes, could you kindly check (at your leisure) points (2) and (3) against the PDFs I've produced? Thank you.

Oh and by the way, thanks for showing me the side of those binders, now I can print that too ;-)

Thank you so much for your offer :-) I'd love to (I love Scandinavia), but first I need to find the time for a +4 hours flight to get there. Unless we can do this check remotely (Skype, Hangouts, ...).

I will hand them over to Jonathan because he seems to possess some kind of auto scanner. Cheers !

I uploaded the Amiga Developer Support Europe Sweden 1991 at bombjacks site. There were 5 disks included, but bombjack didn't upload them and I see why, as they only contained AmigaUUCP (which you can find on aminet) and Fred Fish Aquarium (also on aminet). 278 pages, on how to configure AmigaUUCP, commercials for cdtv etc Nothing interesting at all? Well, some prices of stuff, and some developer info - nothing to exciting but now it's preserved at least! Some of it is in english btw. When I get the time I'll start working on another one that jman isn't working on.

BTW Jman - I noticed bombjack gave you the creds for scanning this - enjoy
