Classic Games

Can anyone suggest some games to me. I had an Amiga and ST years ago when everyone had them, only recently discovered emulation. I think some of the games which I've been playing recently for the Amiga are much better than there modern counterparts.

I have now just under ten titles, titles which I have rembered from the past. I am just starting to get a little lost as to what to get next, can anyone recommend some titles to me.

I like shoot em ups
Platform Games
Pinball etc

By the way whats the "Beast" that everyone keeps talking about?

I don't know what everyone else thinks but I think that Rainbow Islands & Pinball Fanatsies are brilliant and even hold there own against modern PC games in terms of playability and adictivness.

Already got
Xenon 1&2
Blood Money
RType
Chaos Engine

New Zealand Story
Pinballl Fantasies + Illusions

I'd suggest looking for Alien breed (all of them up to 3D) which are a good bit like Chaos engine in the fact that you have an overhead view and plenty of enemies to shoot.

I recommend GODS, a platform/puzzle game. It has great graphics, great puzzles and a perfect difficulty level.

That would be "Shadow of the Beast" from Psygnosis, a pretty good game with great gfx. If you haven't played it I suggest you give it a go.

Some other suggestions:

Shoot 'em up:
Battle Squadron
Project X

Platform:
Magic Pockets
Arabian Nights
Superfrog

Ow come on, maybe he didn't linked the name "Beast" to "Shadow of the Beast"

For shoot'em ups, go for Apidya, Uridium 2 and Battle Squadron. Those , IMO, are the best of the genre.

The Amiga is full of great platform games, here goes a few you could try:

Ruff 'n'Tumble
Soccer Kid
Arabian Nights
James Pond 2
Benefactor

Other games you HAVE to get, imo:

Sensible World of Soccer, Brutal Sports Football, All Terrain Race, Cannon Fodder, Alien Breed 2 and Alien Breed Tower Assault, The Chaos Engine..

Hmm.. it's 5:30 am now, I can't think very clearly I'tl try to remember a few more later.

Turrican trilogy and Jim Power , 2 games you can't miss too.

If I had to choose between Pang and Ooops Up, I would go for Pang anytime.

And for 2 players action, Micro Machines is better than Nitro or ATR. Overdive can only be played with 2 linked machines.
