Deliplayer Pro 2
Hi.
Hiw do I get my hands on a copy of Deliplayer Pro 2? After searching low and high I am unable to find this util for converting mods to wav. I was told to use an alternative util which is open source but found out it can't play all mods from unexotica. Anyone? |

Considering that Deliplayer has been dead for a few year now, I think you will be lucky to find a keyfile for it.
Just keep trying all the usual sources of cracks and keyfiles to see if anything turns up. Just a thought but, have you tried playing them through VLC? It will play some mods and convert them to wav or mp3, I have used it myself for this in the past. Not sure what type of mods it will manage though. Last edited by TCD; 11 July 2015 at 09:50. I have been looking for key file but no luck. Contacted author with no response.
The open source player could not play switchblade 1 or 2 mod from unexotica yet deliplayer plays it. There are many more mods that other players can't play. |

You don't need a key file and one Google will find Deliplayer 2.5 pro. The GUI works reasonably well in windows 7 and the playback engine is still one of the most accurate. I use Deliplayer Pro for exotic mod playback on Windows

Why not do it via original amiga version with advanced filtering via 14bitnoteplayer genie?

/e: UADE seems to play the file from Exotica. So it's a BZR bug :-) Last edited by mld; 11 July 2015 at 13:20. |

There is a keyfile available for Deliplayer 2 Pro.
I think it is about time that Florian Vorberger and Peter Kunath mark the Deliplayer 2 Pro application as Freeware and release it somewhere. Instead of just the Deliplayer 2 non-pro freeware version. |

if you have a place to upload or to send to the mp3s/wavs/etc, I could convert the files with UADE...
Just say which amiga model a500/a1200, with stereo panning or headphone mixing. /e: for the mod files you might also check out 8bitbubsi's Protracker 2.3 for Windows. Really good replay compatibility and has saveaswav option, iirc Last edited by mld; 11 July 2015 at 13:48. |

Is there no other player like XMPlay with plugins that can't do what you want?
Unfortunately, I can't share my keyfile for DP2 and it's up to the authors if they want to release one in the future. Wow, just looked at the datestamp on mine, 22/08/2000, which they kindly sent me back in the early days when I was beta-testing, mainly the PC and exotic module formats for DP. |

I'll look for this, I might have one. But honestly I would use XMPlay with the Deli plugin, it takes most of the Deliplayer replayers.
I'll try these modiles on for you and let you know how it goes. |

@alexh from when I last used DeliPlayer 2.5 Pro beta I found that release to be very unstable and not particularly usable (then again this was a long time ago now). DeliPlayer 2.03 was definitely the last good stable release. I agree the only other viable alternative under Windows is XMPlay with the Delix input plugin. Either that or using EaglePlayer either natively on an Amiga or through emulation and using the various eagleplayers developed by 'Don Adan / Wanted Team'. Just for the record: I checked bd.switchblade and cust.Sword_of_Sodan from Unexotica against bzr_103 with Wine on Debian GNU/Linux.
No crash. Both files seem to work fine... Even subsongs work. If bzr isn't doing something funky it should work on Windows too. The mods are replayed with libxmp... if you can't live with that and rather like to have it played with codec_modplug, just remove/rename codec_libxmp.dll. Don't ask me, 4ch Amiga mods can't be diverted to UADE's Protracker replay even though the replayer is present. Last edited by mld; 11 July 2015 at 17:27. |

I have the key file now which is working on Deliplayer V2. Is there a link somewhere online for Deliplayer V2 Pro?
Also, Thanks for two members (You know who you are) for the help with the keyfile. UPDATE: The email I sent the author for a key file bounced back. It seems it is impossible to contact the author for Deliplayer now. UPDATE Deliplayer V2 seems to crash as well, when I open bd.Switchblade & cust.Sword_of_Sodan from unexotica, anyone know why? |

In case it's useful
You can get mp3/ogg recordings from the exotica modland interface - http://www.exotica.org.uk/mediawiki/...stom&col=&ins= http://modstream.exotica.org.uk/mods...57da635&fm=mp3 You can't control the settings though - it currently uses some left/right mixing on Amiga tunes to reduce stereo separation, but useful if you don't have a player handy and you want to put some audio files on your phone/mp3 player. (backend for delitracker customs is uade). |
