here ya go .. its about as much of the stuff as I can find ...
http://www.blimation.com/art/bubba/sprites/ sorry, they're not all nicely laid out for you etc .. when I get time I will organise them properly, I probably have all of them on good ol' amiga floppies in some strange backup format like abackup or something, if any of you can get the rest of the bgs and animation stuff I'll be well pleased |

I remember doing this in the day just for fun ... I had quite a few good ripping utils... some that did mods some that did gfx... ripped a lot of cool intro/end screens and stuff.
What progs are you using? Off the top of my head, I remember golden axe sprites being very easy to rip...actually they might have loaded straight off the disk! |

Were you asking me what progs I was using? ... I'm not using any .. i still had the original gfx (well, lots of them anyway) seeing as I did them in the first place - if you mean what progs did i use to do 'em, I used dpaint3 and 4 I think ... on an amiga 500
I didn't do the BGs but helped design them and so haven't got them all there are a few character anims missing form my collection too, like the little backpacker on one of the later levels for example, some robots n stuff too Quote:

lol... nah I just assumed you guys were ripping these sprites... i had ripping progs that would do this from the memory of the amiga on a reset.
Didn't realised there were skilled artists here |

Hello !
WOAH ! Youre rips are pretty cool, let us make an archive of that. Saving Disks like CAPS for the future is cool, but the saving the art is better :-) I also ripped some sprites and tiles from Games http://www.syntheticsw.com/~wizard/projects/rips/ PLEASE ALL THE PERSONS IN THIS THREAD, PLEASE MAIL ME YOUR RIPPED SPRITES, TILES AND SO ON. PLEASE SEND THEM AS ZIP Files. PLEASE TELL EXACTLY WHAT GAME, WHICH LEVEL, WORLD AND SO ON. I will put them online, so that everybody can have a look at them. Sorry, for my bad english. My email adress is wizard@syntheticsw.com CU |

Hello !
To get it fast online, i will not create a big page or something like that. I will create dirs with the game names and put files in there like Tiles_World_1.png, Anim.png and so on. Hope you will support this. Thanks. |

All the sprites are currently stored on here anyway, and they are in a format that is easily viewed! I feel that we need to get a basic web-site chucked together and maintained by 1 person! I would offer to do this, but I simply don't have the time |

There are a lot of sprite rips published here,
but not all of them are okay. Some have a wrong palette, others have missing pixels. I think it is a good idea to first create a simple dir. structure like it did it : Blues_Brothers/ 28-Feb-2005 22:02 - Fire&Ice/ 01-Mar-2005 00:27 - RuffNTumble/ 28-Feb-2005 23:34 - Turrican_1/ 01-Mar-2005 03:40 - Turrican_2/ 28-Feb-2005 22:01 - Turrican_3/ 01-Mar-2005 00:02 - When all available sprite rips are there, you look at them and mail me these sprites are okay, these are damaged and so on. The last step then is to create a website. I can create a simple website with links to the sprite rips, that is no problem. BUT PLEASE MAIL ME YOUR RIPS WITH THE NAME OF THE GAME, WHAT LEVEL, WORLD AND SO ON. Thanks. |

Sorry I don't have the time for all that info, If I rip any more I'll put them on here, what I'll do is create a separate thread for sprite posts only, once you get the sprites I'll delete the attachments..
How is that? |

Hello !
Okay, what about that: Attach your GIF, PNG, BMP to an email, without any ZIPPING, just write short text into the mail : GAME NAME: WORLD NR, LEVEL NR: Is that okay ? I will do then the rest. CU |
