That's it

That's my entire collection of iso's, I hope this list is of some use to some of you, I hope it helps Toni a great deal, perfect emulation is something we're all looking for

@ Toni, if you want my finding's in more detail on certain games don't hestitate to ask

I can draw the conclusion that this is the best CD32 emu around, and will get better as soon as these sound issues are ironed out.

I haven't got a clue what might be causing these sound problem's, but hopefully with this list someone will be able to find out

Around 60 games tested, over 90% of the are playable, not bad for a first release eh

Great work Toni

BTW I have decided not to change all this now, if you test a game I shall add it into the correct place by editing my previous post's, it'd take far to long to do another list

Please add your tested games, I have no more so it's over to you guys

I notice you referred to the mp3's - how are you using mp3's anyhow? I thought CD audio was CDDA format. Shouldn't those be in CDDA format in order to work proper?

Do any of the [no sound] flagged games you tested use real CDDA tracks?

Ian, your sound problems are very odd. CD32 has no special audio hardware that could cause your sound problems. Do you also have identical sound problems with normal OCS/AGA games?

Missing CDA tracks can't cause missing sound effects and non CDA music.

Well, I have to ask this too.
I didn't get around with mp3s either so far...I assume that I MUST burn the ISO + MP3 files to CD to get sound from MP3 files at all, aren't I right?
CD32 ROM + CD32 extended ROM + DaemonTools + ISO + WinUAE with "Hard drive" set as CD0: works fantastic now, but without MP3 sound, though...

This is not needed for CD32 emulation (and it may even cause some problems)

Also don't enable "Add PC drives"

You need to either burn iso+mp3's to cdr/cdrw (for example with fireburner) or find software that can convert iso+mp3's to bin/cue image format. I haven't found any, unfortunately..

Do you have Windows 95/98/ME? If yes, you probably need to download ASPI driver update from Adaptec, see readme.txt that comes with WinUAE for URL.

Bloody hell!! :eek
This is witchcraft
You have just got me flabbergasted with mouth open. :eek
I don't know how this works, but this thing recognizes my virtual CD drive even without having to add it in Harddrive settings! Holy God...Cool as hell, really.
Did you have to include special support for DaemonTools to get this to work or how did you realize it apart from that? I can hardly believe this works without special code that has been meticulously adapted in order to match with each of those CD-ROM emulators around...

There is NOTHING in common between harddrive emulation and CD32 CDROM emulation.

In CD32 mode WinUAE just scans all CDROM drives and autoselects first non-empty drive. There is no need for special code, Daemon Tools' virtual drive looks like real SCSI CDROM from software point of view.

Ohhh...if I'm not completely wrong, this can cause problems.
Think about this setup a user might have (NOT mine, though):

CD-ROM: Letter G:
CD inserted

CD recorder: Letter H:
No CD inserted

Virtual CD-ROM: Letter I:

According to your logic, this would make WinUAE look for the CD recorder with letter H: because it's the first non-empty drive.
What WinUAE needs to look for here is the drive with the letter I, though.
