A4000D with CF card HDD Led not flashing
Hi all, is it normal that my HDD led doesnt work when connected to the CF card?
The drive works fine and boots and I can see the led on the adapter flashing, but no light coming from the A4000.... Is there any way to make it work? Thank you Nuno |

If you have a 5 volt card, the LED will flash more reliably. I'm not aware of any IDE port buffers/level translators for the A4000.

Wasn't this a problem with some batches of these adapters when people started using them in A1200s too?
I remember swapping the one from my A1200 into my SX32 Pro because I had one that worked with the Amiga LED and one that didn't. And it didn't matter in the SX32 Pro as it doesn't have an LED
