Have you actually downloaded the 7z archive? It contains both final zip archives from Oddbod.

Still having problems creating my own .iff's

1. Saving screenshot in WinUAE
2. Open in XnView, resize to 320x256, change colours to 256
3. Save as .png
4. Open CWB in WinUAE, open PPaint, open picture
5. Save as .ILBM (Makes it .png) /Save as picture.iff
6. Rename i Dopus to igame.iff / igame.png
7. Move to game folder
8. Scan repositories in iGame
9. Click on game... Igame shuts down. (On real Amiga it crashes)

Could you attach one of the .IFF files that you saved from PPaint?

Edit:

Yes, but it comes with the cost of CPU power to reduce the number of colors, and you can't know for sure how it will end up looking. Although I guess just for a screenshot for IGame it shouldn't matter too much if it takes half a second to load and show the image.

I can only see the same content of the two folders...

Use 7-Zip to unpack the archive and then unpack the two zip archives. All A-Z folders are threre. One archive for title screenshots, one for ingame shots.

I can see the two different archives:

iGame_Screenshots_IFF256
containing 1605 iff files

iGame_Gameplay_Shots_IFF256
containing 1365 iff files

Wich ones are new?

And though this is nice, I'd still like to be able to make my own

New? You mean compared to the default screenshots in Igame? I have no clue. But you have screenshots for more than 1300 games. Try it.

I'll try them out tomorrow

***Edit:

iGame_Screenshots_IFF256
containing 1605 iff files

*This contains different pictures for the games... The same games as already in the iGame package installed with CWB, but not gameplay screenshots, more like startscreens..

iGame_Gameplay_Shots_IFF256
containing 1365 iff files

*This contains the same pictures as provided in the iGame installer in CWB... But missing quite a few... Folder is 36mb in size, and I think iGame asked for 170mb in CWB installation...

Anyway... This don't seem to add anything to iGame that wasn't already there... Still missing the screenshots for a lot of even well known games.... Thanks for the effort though Retro-Nerd, appreciate it!

The game uses 36 colors so you don't have to add up to 256.
Try this image.

IGame shuts down for me all the time, and I'm just using the built-in pictures from CWB. This is why I use the other game launcher.

That sucks Demo

I have used the standard GameMenu until now, but I really want to use iGame... It just looks way better, and helps both me, and friends to get quick info on which game hides behind the name...
As mentioned higher in the thread, KGLoad is "on its way" but it just seems to take forever so until then iGame will have to do.
I wrote the creator of iGame an email, let's see if he answers
