Clear Plastic Floppy Disk Sleeves
I'd prefer the sleeves that have a flap rather than the ones that stop short of the top of the disk with an open end as I basically want to reattach some coverdisks back onto their magazines, but be able to remove the disks without tearing off the sleeves by just opening the flap.
I'm trying to find a supplier in the UK for the above, but dont mind importing if the price is right. Anyone have any pointers? I've been googling for the last hour and not having any joy. |

alternative: zip-lock bags.. you can attach them using double sided tape.

i'm not sure locking in air for it to get more humid in the packet would be the best idea for archival storage.

Most of those plastic sleeves were designed to slip disks into a box and can carry a lot of static. In other words, you could be putting your disks in risk by using them.

I suppose it depends on the type of plastic and how you handle it, though the thought had crossed my mind.
Anyway the quote came back at £65 for 1000. Not bad considering that they're made to order and are as rare as hens teeth. |
