Post Looking for sophisticated AmigaGuide documents (or really low quality ones)

Hey folks,

I’m currently working on a Qt based AmigaGuide reader in my spare time and need a couple of test cases. I randomly fished out some guide documents from cover CDs etc., but it’s too tedious to use them for bug hunting since most just use the basic commands. Can anyone recommend me a bunch of AmigaGuide documents that really tried to pushed the limits of the format?

Alternatively, I’m also looking for documents that are bordering on being broken (or are just coded terribly) but still worked ok in MultiView back in the day.

Thanks in advance

Great project! I could use something to replace Grotag, which hasn't been updated in ages.

As I recall, the readme guide for OS3.9 BB2 uses some fancy formatting. Also have a look at the Envoy 3 guide, the CrossDOS7 guide, and the Fusion guide. Envoy uses v40 formatting commands, CrossDOS calls some scripts/shell commands, and I think Fusion calls some external images.

The RKMs and AmigaMail in .guide format on v2.1 of the Developer CD might also be worth taking a look at for their complex web of external linking.

Hi Matt! Thanks for your tips, this will keep me busy bug hunting for a while!

Do have any suggestions what Grotag or other guide readers lacked for you and what they did great (might be worth copying for me, then… ^^)?
