I was thinking of reviving this thread again, thanks for doing it.

Anyone got a full copy? :-)

Okay, I thought if I searched by old disk images I made at some point around 10 years ago, I might find the copy I used to have. And I did. It was on ACU Utilities Disk 25, but only a packed version of 1.01 which I recall as being quite buggy.

After a bit of web searching, I managed to find this mislabeled as "ACU Disk Utilities 25" in TOSEC, e.g. "Compilations/Applications/ACU Disk Utilities 25 (19xx)(ACU).zip" on the FTP.

I've extracted and unpacked the related files, and also retrieved the manual from LSD doc disk 12, and put them in the zone as argasmV1.01.zip.

nice find. Mysterious Ways "How to Code the Amiga" talks about 1.09d.
so version 1.01 is something

on amigascne is a utility collection. also some of ACU. once there must be made an index of them. maybe more rare things out there.

The demo on the coverdisk is 1.02, but does not include editor.

The ACU disks have an index on them, and most of the rare things I'd like, like Resource 0.47 or 0.22 or whatever version is is < 1.0, are on the disks that are not around.

BitWorld seems like a good start. But unfortunately, few of the disks are fully documented.

Okay, I've uploaded ArgAsm 1.06 and 1.07 to The Zone.

From the readme file I put in the archive:
Code:
ArgAsm 1.06 and 1.07
--------------------
I bought a copy of ArgAsm on eBay in 2004. Three disks with documentation
in an A5 ring binder. The 1.07 disk is probably an update sent by
Argonaut Software to the previous owner.

As far as I can tell none of the disks have been written to since they
were new. I have also created WWarp and SPS raw images of the disks if
anyone would like those.

Hi,

Being new here and trying to refresh my Amiga coding skills, coould someone put Argasm available in "The Zone" again, or mail it to me?

I think Argasm might have been the editor/assembler I used back in 1988-89. I have tried a little bit of other assemblers, but I don't feel comfortable with them.

I might need to ask for help to get up to speed on coding on an A500. I will do coding mainly in windows and WinUAE, but I will test my code on a real Amiga 500 as well. Typing code on a windows pc, will be a lot easier on the yes than coding on the Amiga some 25 years ago. Low resolution and a small CRT monitor - now High resolution and a 30" LCD.

But Amiga rulez! AMIGAAAAAA!
