How big your collection of Amiga stuff is ?
I like to collect Amiga stuff
I mean, games, demos, utilities I'm talking of files, not real things So, i'm curious to know if other guys here in the forum have the same hobby My whole collection at the moment is 385 GB It's composed by DMS, ADF, LHA, LZX and so on I don't have, anyway, ISO So, the question is simple: how big your collection is and how it is composed ? |

I don't collect everything... just stuff that I'll probably use one day.
Mine is 234GB in size; usual files: .ZIP, .RAR, .ADF, .DMS, .LHA, .LZX, .HDF and .ISO. |

As for my collecting, I just hit a milestone of collecting 500 Amiga demos that are personal favourites, and I think I've gotten almost all the popular ones. I don't think I'll be able to find another 500 that are just as good. I have a list of them, if anybody wants to spot their own favourites. As for games, I haven't seen that many of them by comparison, but I will explore them more with Hall of Light's help, now that I can download and play just like that. |

Sure, name of files is sometimes a mess, a more consistent one is appreciated
Anyway, do you know this site ? http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/search.php It's Amiga only, to the opposite of Pouet which is multiplatform |

Screenshots on Janeway have a disadvantage
I told about this issue to the Janeway team but nothing is changed You never see the shot as it should be You see it too small or too big indeed, but never in the original size it was taken This is a little off topic here |

Less than 1 GB of stuff, mainly .7Z and .LHA archives of documentation and source code. I don't collect games or software generally, only if they're rare and difficult to find.

I have to admit I hardly play anything I just enjoying collecting what I can, I do like getting all operating systems set up and running right including all the ones supported on here, I have to admit I'm struggling with setting up the HstWB, I need to go back and have another shot, I don't find the instructions clear at all!

When I do actually get some time and feel like having a bash; title / screenshots really help when selecting what to play. |

Well, I have 501 gb.
50gb of stuff not in TOSEC. Used to have much more, but when an iso is added to TOSEC I delete all other versions I have as there's no point keeping them when a good version is available. I rarely play, too much to choose from, plus when I was an Amiga owner as a kid I didn't have many games, got my brothers handmedowns (Had his ST first and had that for a good few years until he got a PC), he had some links to someone who downloaded games from BBS's etc, but he only ever got me a box of games and most of them were shit. Moved on fairly quickly to a CD32 and then PSX as soon as it came out a year or so after. Best day of my PC life was finding out about WinUAE though it was about version 8.8.8 then or something and rarely saw any updates from Brian King, but most stuff worked reasonable well to get the interest going. |

WinSTon was my first foray into emulation. Great little ST emu that was. Probably found WinUAE a few months later. Probably the mid 90s for me. Didn't find mame until much later.
