I've had hard crashes on my A1200 that you can't imagine ; sometimes not recoverable without having to turn power off. Yet FFS never failed, at worse it took a few minutes to revalidate. And i know that if things go crazy, DiskSalv can at least get some of my data back. |

Toni also has the Diskdoctor for PFS aio, command line only but it`s a great tool if ever you need to repair a partition

Is this in-place repair ? If so, it's dangerous because it may even make more damage. Nothing beats the salvage (to another device) option.

Maybe the AmigaOS update after 3.2 should have recovery, system partition included in the installation?
At least as an option. AmigaOS does not take up any space at all. At least not with today storage standards. I know this is easy solved with a floppy or Gotek, but could be an idea. |

As announced a new episode has been just uploaded. The difference in performance was too big to leave it unanswered so in this episode we can see how do perform both FFS and PFS3 on different media (sorry for not including SFS but this episode took way too much time to create already).
