Yep, you can piggyback C9 to R1.
C1,C2=100nF.
There is one extra 2.2k resistor.
C4 should be 102 (1000pF) or 101 (100pF), preferably 100pF
I guess you are following the instructions for rev. 2 of the board? You should follow the pdf I linked to in the note shipped with the kit instead for rev 1.1.

Since when I sent you the kit I have changed the 47µF electrolytic to a 220µF, if you have a cap with a higher value than 47µF I suggest you use that instead, power to the controller will be more stable then.

Choose "libusbK" as the driver and then click install driver (or replace driver).

You are following the guide which is for rev. 2 of the board so you flashed the firmware for rev. 2. There is no version 1.03 for rev. 1. Try this one instead (you can run the batch file): http://daemonbite.com/ktrl/files/ktr...v1_fw_v102.zip

Nice! The only game I have had small issues with so far on the CD32 is Ultimate Body Blows (The blocking pose of the character can be triggered with the red button, blocking is normally triggered with blue). Are you using a CD32 or A1200? Did you by the way use another electrolytic cap than the supplied 47µF?

Happy Hi re gamepad help

Hi just joined the thread as chanced upon your KTLR CD32 gamepad by chance.
I am a disabled lady and my husband bought me an Amiga CD32 when it came out, I use it a fair bit as stuck indoors and my old game pads are rather worn.
Sadly my husband wouldn’t be able to put together one of your gamepad and wondered if there was any chance of buying one ready made.
Is that possible as I see they’re getting great reviews, how much would it be if you can do it please. I live in Sussex, Uk
Thanks for any help

Or for 60 euro you can have a lousy original CD32 controller without the upper pad part which took off and a direction pad which rotates when playing...

We need more KTRL32 pads!

Definitely. I am lucky enough to have one and it's brilliant, especially with the ability to remap buttons so 1 button platform games with UP for jump you can swap to a second button!

I recall time to build was the issue. No one out there who can do a few mass runs of them similar to TF328?

I have one PCB that is almost entirely soldered. I might be able to finish it for you if I find the time. I will let you know!

Ready built gamepad

Hi, thanks for replying, that would be great if you’re able to let me know when you’ve finished building it, can you give me an idea of price please? as sadly not got loads of money on disability.
Also how will you contact me to let me know if it’s ready please, I’m not very up on how all these forums work, should I put my emails address here for you?
Thanks

Hi you guys still following this thread! I'm currently working on a KTRL CD32 circuit that uses less components (ditched the 74LS125 and some other components). If I'm successful, I will have a version that is faster/cheaper to assemble and will hopefully also be fully compatible with the C64.

I'm also looking into making a "clicky" dpad (like xbox one, gameboy advance etc), this however might show to be an impossible task.
