I've started playing the Dizzy games for Spectrum.. they seem interesting, I've only played one Dizzy game before on Amiga.
I'd like to read the manuals for the games though, is there any good place to download Dizzy manuals (or Spectrum game manuals in general)? |

I loved my C64 far more than my mates Spectrum but couldn't help be a little jealous of Sabre Wulf, Knight Lore, TLL, Cyclone, Starion, Back to School,Jet Set Willy, Monty Mole(1st one, even though i loved the C64 version too), Scuba Dive(fairly rubbish on C64), Starstrikes.
It was mostly inferior to the mighty c64 but had a warmth and charm all of it's own. These days i stick up for all machines of old because it's a lost time i figure we should all respect. Things change i know but these were happy times and i miss them ...blub Last edited by Adropac2; 09 January 2008 at 22:28. |

i am a speccy fan too. sorry for the late backup horace-hogan my good buddy.
anyway as much as i like the c64 (some games were awesome like kikstart 2 and ikari warriors), i have to say that with most c64 game, they were overated and it was usually the sid music and the scolling graphics that saved many crap/average games. the c64 was a glorified demo machine tbh |
