i found this on the sensi website
The Graveyard A place of remembrance for all those things which have sadly passed away. THE COMMODORE AMIGA 500/600/1200 (1989ish-1997 ish) After years of dedicated service to the games industry, the Amiga is now dead. May it rest in peace...... AMIGA POWER (1991-1996) The funniest and best games mag ever. The only Amiga magazine that gave, un-biased, interesting, entertaining reviews, as well as getting all the exclusives. It had a much longer and drawn out death than it deserved |

BITS IS ANOTHER UK DEV
Bits, one of Britain's leading games developers has almost 20 years experience in developing games across a wide range of platforms, including the current generation of consoles as well as Nintendo's NES, Super NES, Gameboy & Gameboy Color, Sega's Genesis, Mega Drive & 32X, and the PC. The current development team, which was founded in 1990 by Foo Katan, has to date been responsible for the development of games which, the Directors estimate, have sold nearly 5 million units and generated retail revenues in excess of $140 million. These games include Terminator II Judgment Day (Nintendo Game Boy and SNES), Chase HQ (Nintendo Game Boy), AlienĀ³ (Nintendo Game Boy), Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3 (Nintendo Game Boy), Wolverine (SNES) and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (Nintendo Game Boy). Bits also enjoyed a high degree of success with Warlocked and R-TYPE DX, both released on Nintendo's Gameboy Color. Whilst both earned rave reviews, Warlocked really stole the show by clinching IGN.com's "Best Strategy Game of the Year 2000". With all the experience gained and a team of around 40 staff, we continue to produce top quality titles. Currently developing for Sony's Playstation 2, Microsoft's XBox and Nintendo's Gamecube and Gameboy Advance we think that our recent releases of Constantine, RogueOps, Die Hard: Vendetta and Sega Arcade Gallery bring the best out of each platform. In addition, our subsidiary, Gamesmagnet, has produced online games, currently hosting Lab Rat, having also developed and hosted an interactive online 3D athletics game, Virtual Athlete. Bits has long-established working relationships with many major publishers, distributors and licensors. Recent agreements have been entered into with Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, Sci Games, Kemco, Vivendi Universal Games, Fox Interactive, THQ and Nintendo. Our exclusive games section provides more information on our recent projects and past games. |
