Amiga 600 FPGA (MiSTer) Conversion

My friend mattsoft recently finished a very cool project where he took a MiST FPGA and tucked it inside the keyboard/case of an A600.

He designed custom brackets for everything (and made those available for free).

He posted about it here:
https://amigalove.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=636

Pretty cool stuff! And at least in his experience, it sounds like a somewhat better overall experience than similar projects he's completed with the Raspberry Pi.

Jeez you guys react like you are 75 years old.

I work at a local make space, and I get the question "Why" almost every day.

Why are you building a 100 Watt flash light?
Why are you building a solar tracker to charge your phone?
Why are you building a mister in a Old Amiga case?
Why are you building a robot arm?

Because I can
Because I can
Because he can
En because I want to stir my tea using a playstation 2 controller
En also because I can.
