Commodore Amiga: a visual Commpendium launched

Following the Commodore 64 book, now it's the Amiga's turn. What's impressive is that it's practically 50% funded in the first day!

update: just noticed there's also a boxed, floppy edition of Putty Squad on offer. Nice touch and thanks again Galahad!

According to the creator, the book will have the most impressive backing, with support from legends such as Paul Cuisset (Flashback), Ron Gilbert (Monkey Island), Dino Dini (Kick Off), Martin Edmondson (Shadow of the Beast), Dan Malone (The Chaos Engine), Jim Sachs (Defender of The Crown) and Gary Penn (The One Magazine) along with many other developers and journalists who will be contributing to the book.

I have a funny feeling this will be funded 10000000%

I've backed one of the hardcopy books signed by Mr. Stoo and Mr. Jools...

Would have liked the signed Amiga Power issue 1 but that's gone! argh.
Not so sure on the Putty Squad box so given it a miss.

Thanks for posting this up - I've been slack on announcing.

Yes this is live on Kickstarter and after just hours this is almost funded. Amazing support from the community!

Full details : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...al-commpendium

Your support is very much appreciated. Putty Squad will be getting a full floppy disk and boxed release as one of the pledges. This WILL happen Plus there are plenty of other unique pledges with more to come.

Is there also a manual in the boxed Putty Squad?

Yes indeed. Again it'll be as close in looks to what it would have been in 1994.

I can see your Kickstarter easily passing the 50K mark at this rate

Pledged for the signed hard back myself yesterday, cannot wait for it to arrive. I completely missed the C64 kickstarter and picked that up last week after seeing the advert in Retro Gamer magazine, the quality is really top notch.

Rob1, loads of photos of the book here -> http://www.funstock.co.uk/commodore-...ndium-c64-book

Just checked the stretch goals in the Kickstarter page. I'd really like to have that Another World poster.
