Nice site. I honestly didn't think that there were that many games with quotes of that caliber.

Got a game the other day in which about 90% of the quotes were worthy or overqualified to be on that site. An RPG which I dropped quickly from the simple fact that I didn't understand half of what was going on.

Something called the holy sword. -the ring-

Apart from bad language it's got bad 3D graphics, and sprites for characters which is consequentially hovering above the play area, this of course only become apparent when you go to battle and everything starts moving in squares, suddently you realize that the character looks to be hovering above the square which is marked in color as the one you're supposed to be on. The distortion is between 0.25 and 1.75 square. Bit hard to see where your enemies are when their squares aren't highlighted like your own.

Lightbulb

There's still two intros that I'd count as nonsene to this day-
First the old, Forgotten Worlds
"Did you find the guy?" & "I'll finish you today for sure!"

& the present, Splinter Cell's intro on PS 2.
I think they redid the intro for the PS2 version, lovely to watch, except once you play through the first couple of levels you'll learn the coconut-headed agents you were sent to initially find were NOT together when they went missing & their capture had nothing whatsoever to do with the flashy intro sequence-someone stuffed up story continuity for sure!

I think the BBC micro was worst for this, as it had a very crap speech synthesis some companies released adventure games for the BBC that completely used speech, this made them impossible to play as the average spoken line went something like this:

"eeeooo hooooo maaa yyeee dooonnn boooo tttaaayy"

Ah the memories!
